We are pleased to
have Linda Johnson-Morke coming to set up her yurt starting
at 9:00 Saturday. Linda's yurt is a "Kazakh
Yurt" from Kazakhstan.
Linda is an experienced
felter who has traveled to Mongolia to study the traditional
felting techniques used to make the materials for a yurt.
Linda has graciously
agreed to let Festival attendees tour the yurt and visit
with her about its construction and her experience in Mongolia
Linda
also will be demonstrating various aspects of the felting
