2010 Information for Vendors

Vendors of fiber and sheep related items will be showing their wares at the Festival. This is a juried selection of vendors.

A letter was mailed to prospective vendors in February 2010. This prospective vendor letter is available here. Pre-registered Vendors were also sent a letter requesting confirmation of certain information. The 2010 pre-registered vendor letter is available here.

• Booth application deadline Maarch 1, 2010 to be listed in Festival brochure.
• No refunds after April 9, 2010.
• Prices are for 2 days. No single day booths are available. All prices include electricity!
  

  SET UP:	Friday, May 7th - noon to 8 pm	Please have cars and trucks moved to the parking area by 8:45 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday
  	Saturday, May 8th - 6 am to 9 am
  FESTIVAL HOURS:	Saturday, May 8th - 9 am to 5 pm
  	Sunday, May 9th - 10 am to 4 pm
  TEAR DOWN:	Sunday, May 9th - 4pm to 6pm	An additional fee will be charged to those who abuse this time frame.

• Promote your products by donating 8 ounces of clean fiber for the “Fiber Sandwich Activity”. See the website for details.
• This year we will again be having a Fashion Show. We need vendors to participate by showing-off some of the products in your booth. This is a great opportunity to give more exposure to your company. Find out how you can participate in the Fashion Show or contact Teresa Kukowski at teredarl@sherbtel.net.
• This year we are planning a private barbeque for the vendors and their families on Saturday night after the show closes. It will be held in Hooley Hall, which is heated. This event gives us a chance to celebrate and get to know each other better.
• Camping will be allowed on the grounds for a fee of $10/unit/night.

Sales Tax As of July 1, 1997 all vendors at festivals must have a Minnesota Business Tax ID number and collect sales tax on appropriate items sold.  Information on obtaining a Tax ID number is available online or call the Minnesota Dept. of Revenue at (651) 282-5225 to register by phone.  You should download Sales Tax Fact Sheet 148 “Selling Event Exhibitors and Operators or ask for a copy when you register for your ID number.

To reserve your booth at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival you will need to print out and submit the following items:

• Vendor Registration Form
• Jury Application Form
• MN Sales Tax "Certificate of Operator Compliance" Form ST19
• Optional is the “Shepherd's Harvest Ad” form (notice it is to be mailed to Pat Ryan).

2010 Pre-registered vendors need to print out and/or submit the following items:

• Personalized Pre-Registered Vendor Confirmation Form - if you have not received yours by 2/10 contact Alissa Grier email vendor@shepherdsharvestfestival.org
• MN Sales Tax "Certificate of Operator Compliance" Form ST19
• Optional is the “Shepherd's Harvest Ad” form (notice it is to be mailed to Pat Ryan).
