Vendors of fiber
and sheep related items will be showing their wares at the
Festival. This is a juried selection of vendors.

was mailed to prospective vendors in February 2010. This

A vendor may
rent a maximum of two booths.

your products by donating 8 ounces of clean fiber for
the “Fiber Sandwich Activity”. See
the website for details.

This year we will again be having a Fashion
Show. We need vendors to participate by showing-off
some of the products in your booth. This is a great opportunity
to give more exposure to your company. Find out how you
can participate
in the Fashion Show or contact Teresa Kukowski at
teredarl@sherbtel.net.

This year we are planning a private barbeque for the vendors
and their families on Saturday night after the show closes.
It will be held in Hooley Hall, which is heated. This
event gives us a chance to celebrate and get to know each
other better.

Camping will be allowed on the grounds for a fee of $10/unit/night.

will be juried
and the Festival reserves the right to refuse inappropriate
items.
Sales Tax
As of
July 1, 1997 all vendors at festivals must have a Minnesota
Business Tax ID number and collect sales tax on appropriate
items sold. Information on obtaining a Tax ID number
is available
online or
call the Minnesota Dept. of Revenue at (651) 282-5225 to
register by phone. You should download
Sales Tax Fact Sheet 148 “Selling Event
Exhibitors and Operators or ask for a copy when
you register for your ID number.

Opportunities
are available for fiber guilds and other fiber
organizations to promote their organization at
the Festival. Reduced rates/waived fees
are available in exchange for volunteer hours/demonstrations.
