Have
some fun with your camera! Capture those moments with your
kids, fiber animals or those that illustrate some aspect
of farm life. This contest is open to anyone — you
don’t have to own a farm or a fiber animal to enter.

Divisions:
Division 1: |
Fiber
animal portrait: Portraits or shots of shearing,
animal care and daily life |
Division
2: |
Landscape:
Pastoral scenes featuring fiber animals |
Division
3: |
Funny
Farm: Humorous photos of farm life |

Digital
art: Computer manipulated, enhanced, or Photoshopped
images |

Youth
Division: For photographers 18 years and under,
photo subjects from any of the above divisions |
Photo
Contest Rules:

Submit
color or black and white photos, at least 4x6"
but no larger than 8x10", unmounted, unframed |
| Identification: |
Prepare
two 3x5" index cards with the following information
a. Division # of entry
(see above)
b. Photo title (optional)
c. Photographer's name,
address, phone and/or e-mail
d. For youth division
only: age of photographer
Affix one card to the back of the photo and include
the other for contest records. |
| Fees: |
Enclose
$2.00 per photo entry. |
| General: |
All
photos must be taken after May 2009;
All photos must be submitted in the name of the photographer;
and
Each photographer may submit no more than five photographs
(one per division). |
| Submission: |
You
may submit your photos at the Festival on Saturday morning
before 9:00am at the contest booth in Building D or
mail your photos with identification and fees as above
to:

Judging
will be by PEOPLE’S CHOICE ballots cast by those attending
on Saturday. Ten prizes will be awarded to the top two entries
in each category.
All
photos must be picked up by 5:00 PM on Sunday. Photographs
will not be mailed back to entrants unless arrangements
are made prior to the contest; e-mail johns169@gmail.com
